Well I decided to try out iteadstudio‘s PCB service last night. While this is my first professional PCB made this should be a interesting project. I can say for starters the board layout is shit because I whipped it up in about 2 hours at 2AM. I should have the boards in 2 weeks or so I hope. I decided to ditch the ATMEGA644PA from my last unit that dumped via a serial port to using a ATMEGA32U4 using USB. I think for starters once I get the boards and put it together I will using the COM port emulation that Atmel offers to see if the unit is working right. From there on I will write a real USB solution for dumping games using their generic HID class drivers.
